John Legend has urged Americans to speak out and Watch Salyut 7 Onlineunite against Donald Trump in a frank cover interview with Fault magazine.

Asked whether raising a daughter in "Trump's America" scares him, the singer said he hoped Trump's presidency would be short-lived. "Hopefully "Trump’s America" won’t last very long and we get him out of here within the next four years. By the time Luna is old enough to be aware of what is happening, America would have elected a far better president," Legend told Fault.

Legend added that Trump promised to do things which are "really bad for the country," stating that Trump has promised to do some "good" things. Legend says he hopes that Trump will only deliver on the good promises, but conceded he doesn't have much faith in him.

"I’m just hoping for the best and when we need to resist and speak out, we need to hit the streets and do it," urged Legend.

"For now, I’m more worried for the people less fortunate than my daughter, people who might lose their healthcare or get excluded because of the colour of their skin, their religion and country of origin," Legend added.

Legend has been vocal in his criticism of Trump's policies, and recently called out Trump's recent immigration restrictions as he presented the Producer's Guild of America Awards (PGAs) in Los Angeles on Saturday."We are the voice, we are the face of America. Our America is big, it is free, and it is open to dreamers of all races, all countries, all religions," said Legend. "Our vision of America is directly antithetical to that of President Trump. I want to specifically tonight reject his vision and affirm that America has to be better than that," the singer continued.
